1000 x into water.

BETA
BIO 45%

Flavor Specification:
Pleasant, floral aroma. Bitter taste with floral overtones when diluted 1000
x into water.

CO2
EXTRACT

Flavor Specification:
The flavor characteristics of the original hops are maintained. Early addition
of CO2 Extract to the kettle imparts mainly bitterness, while late addition
allows carry over of a proportion of the volatile oils resulting in a beer with
aromatic “late hop” character.

GENERAL
HOP OIL

Flavor Specification:
The use of hop oils provides significant advantages with regard to achieving
a consistent hop aroma in beer.

HOP OIL

Flavor Specification:
Hop Oil can be used to provide a strong or, alternatively, a more subtle hop
aroma depending on the quantity added, method and point of addition.
As well as aroma, Hop Oil also has an influence on total hop flavor. It is
therefore very suitable for addition to lightstable beers in order to enhance
hop character.

HOP OIL

Flavor Specification:
Hop Oil - Type DRY can be used to provide a strong or, alternatively, a more
subtle hop aroma depending on the quantity added, method and point of
addition.
As well as aroma, Hop Oil - Type DRY also has an influence on total hop
flavor. It is therefore very suitable for addition to lightstable beers in order
to enhance hop character.

HOP OIL TYPE NOBLE

Flavor Specification:
With reduced levels of the undesirable, volatile hydrocarbon fraction, Hop
Oil - Type NOBLE produces a more subtle and pleasant hop aroma.
Furthermore Hop Oil - Type NOBLE has a little influence on beer bitterness.
It is therefore very suitable for addition to light stable beers in order to
enhance the typical hop character.

HOP OIL
TYPE NOBLE PLUS

Flavor Specification:
With a substantially reduced level of the undesirable, volatile hydrocarbon
fraction, Hop Oil - Type NOBLE PLUS produces a very subtle and pleasant
hop aroma.
Furthermore Hop Oil - Type NOBLE PLUS has only little influence on beer
bitterness. It is therefore very suitable for addition to light stable beers in
order to enhance the typical hop character.

ISOMERIZED HOP EXTRACT (ISO 30%)

Aroma Specification:
Iso-Extract produces a clean, bitter flavor and, when used for adjustment, results in beers of consistent bitterness.

ISOMERIZED KETTLE EXTRACT (IKE)

Aroma Specification:
Beers of identical aroma and taste can be produced when IKE is used as a
direct replacement for normal CO2 extract. However care must be taken to
ensure that late addition of IKE does not result in excessive hop character
due to the increased retention of hop oil in final beer.

RHO ISO EXTRACT 10%

Flavor Specification:
Rho – 10% provides only bitterness to the beer. Many brewers consider
that rho-iso- alpha acids impart an especially pleasant, “soft” bitterness to
beer.

RHO ISO EXTRACT 35%

Flavor Specification:
Rho provides only bitterness. Many brewers consider that Rho imparts a particularly pleasant, “soft” bitterness to the beer.

TETRA ISO-EXTRACT (TETRA)

Flavor Specification:
Tetra should provide 1.0 to 1.7 times the perceived (tasteable) bitterness as
compared to the same BU level from traditional hopping. The actual figure
depends on the details of its use and also on the type of beer. Therefore,
the target level for beer BU must be determined in preliminary tests to
achieve the correct degree of sensory bitterness.
